Ok my banshee is 1993 or 1996 won"t matter , it has 4 mil long rod , big bore wiesco setup, i took it into the shop had new clutchs put in, mind you i ride this thing 1 a month for 15 to 20 minutes tops, anyways the shop guys sold me water pump etc, and a electronic maybe diode or something that cost 25 or 30 bucks and goes in my electric system thats supposed to add like 2 to 3 hp he said by advancing or retarding timming maybe? i really can"t remember, but other then that bikes been road 1 half hours or 2 and half tops since fast eddy"s yamaha kaw. in fayetteville ark built this thing .So i nail the throttle the bike wasn"t warmed up all the way but it seemed like when i got Wide open getting ready to switch gears this cutting out sound from sounded like right back was happening like not a backfire but more like a reed or a sucktion sound was happening switched gears stopped untill it got higher in RPMS then again like a sucking sound from one cycilinder or something any idea"s TY

Not very descriptive on mods or what it's doing!!!! A complete list of modifications, pipes , carbs, jetting,porting, size of "big" bore. Have you ran it again? Next time you run it make sure you let it warm up first.

typically a wide open throttle pop is a lean condition, just pull the plugs and see what you got.
