Noob question... bought a banshee, some small electrical unit was unplugged...

Noob, but bare with me.

 

I bought a 98 Banshee. The guy said it had some electrical unit unplugged. It has a white plug, with 3 wires on it I believe. He says with it being unplugged the quad rides better, etc....

 

In the box of parts it came with, the empty Banshee plug goes a small black little plastic relay looking thing. What is it?

It's the TORS box. It is the throttle override system. Research the repair and mod section and the jetting and exhaust section for more info.

u dont need it but make sure he has the tors removal kit installed correctly

i dont know if it has a kit? I am new at these. I have had LT250rs and Honda 250r's.

 

I know though, it runs great, no throttle issues or hesitation. Runs and starts up great!

does it have the big ugly tors boxes on top of the carbs? if so, you dont have a tors removal kit. its tougher to tune the carbs with that big hunka junk on top of em.
