You guys know not to loosen the pickup screws right? You just bend the tab that the sensor sits on to adjust the gap.

what? you're worrying me, snoop...... :whistling:

because, you do loosen the screws to adjust

I don't, you run the risk of stripping the screw, and it almost always moves when you tighten back down. I just take a screwdriver and bend the sensor on the mounting tab to set the gap.

generally, i use a impact driver on any and all screws. even helps with previously stripped screws. then, i just loosen the screws enough to tap the pickup to speck, and it doesn't move when i tighten it back down. to each, their own. i guess..

ok thread jackers... lol, I swapped the stator out with no avail, stuck the stock CDI on with zero advance on the plate = fail also.

NOW since everything has been out of wack on the carbs im not gonna rule it out just yet, im going to sync the carbs with the vac-meter sync tool and fart around with the needle. Maybe snag a different flywheel.

EDIT: I still have the stock head on running 110oct SO!!! ima throw the chariot back on with new O rings and what not. Put everything as close as i can back to the way it was before the riding trip, just the pilot will be different and im keepin the stock CDI on it.

try regapping those plugs to .20 that helped my uncles bike a lot. we finally got it running right yesterday. also he was missing some reed gaskets that might have been a problem as well.

yah, if you are running stock compression, you should be running 93 octane, or the fuel won't burn as well, and act like your rings are fried. what size domes are in the chariot head?

19cc domes with 180psi

Do you know what the squish is?

.044 both sides, used .060 resin core solder and setting it inside in line with the piston pin on both sides.
