travis6767
ok i got a stupid question to ask, when you check the oil do you just put the dipstick in without screwing it in or do u screw it in then screw it out to check it?
SAVAGE420
Screw it in to check. But there is no oil in the crank case, only oil that goes through there is the oil you mix with your gas. Transmission oil goes in the transmission/clutch and thats what your checking with that dipstick.
travis6767
thats what i ment, dont have to be a smart ass and it is part if the crankcase because it is the case that houses the crankshaft

So what do you expect? :ermm: Dont ask dumb ass shit that you don't know what your talking about then, then i wont have to be a so called "smart ass". Which BTW i wasn't trying to be a smart ass....some people just don't know shit, so i thought i would explain. Sorry if your on your rag, your nuts haven't dropped yet or your having a bad day, my bad.....) Again, the oil goes in your TRANS, NOT THE CRANK CASE, its separate!!! Good day. bansheesandrider
Per the factory owners manual, set the dipstick on top of the threads, DO NOT screw it in. The crankcase is a sealed seperate housing that gets it's oil from the oil in your premixed fuel, the dipstick is for transmission oil only.
