glassjawjm Posted August 2, 2009 Report Posted August 2, 2009 So I picked up a running banshee for 600 bucks, it has bad compression in the right cylinder, I bought it anyways because everything else was great and clean, plus it came with a set of paddles and brand new bandits, I started tearing it down and found a bunch of goodies, one was a msd coil, I can't find one on the net, I did find the msd completeignition setup for the banshee, it said not to use just one componet of the msd system, how true is this? Has anyone run just the msd coil? Quote

TurboBanshee420 Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 Those coils like a pretty high voltage input...not sure if the cdi is pumping out the numbers it would normally need. However...a coil doesn't really care what it gets from the input....it will always do it's job regardless. Quote
