for my first performance upgrade i was thinking about doing pods and buying a dynojet kit, now i know im obviously going to have to just try some jets and check the plugs.. but where should i start with my jetting? and what should i change just the mains or more?

oops.. Bone Stock gonna do pods and T-5's im hoping it wakes the bike up enough to entertain me till i get the money to port it

Stay away from jet kits. Just buy a selection of jets.

 

That just made me realize that the kit doesn't just come with a bunch of different jets like i thought... Ill just go with 290 mains and save myself a bunch of money if thats my best bet.

290's sound way small. I ran 300's with the stock air box and no lid. At sea level I run 340 mains and 27.5 pilots with pods on our stock 99 with just T-5S, cool head, and v-force.
