when i fire the banshee up it runs at around half throttle

ok when i started the banshee up it started running at about half throttle and the barb slides seem to be in the correct position would a cracked intake do this? and if not what else would do it?

I had the same thing u start it and it would rev pretty high and wouldn't come down here the throttle cable down by the head was like pitch we moved that good as new
