ryansedy Posted July 16, 2009 Report Posted July 16, 2009 I have a stock radiator, and a 4mm cheetah cub, with a high flow billet water impeller. Should i be able to run it in the sand without overheating on a hot day? Dont want to screw my bike up. Im also running Engine Ice coolant. Quote

I run the same stuff you do with a cub and all is good. we just dont make it a habit to let idle without moving. Quote
TeamRealtreeHD Posted July 16, 2009 Report Posted July 16, 2009 I run the same setup too.... with or without a bigger radiator, cubs will run warmer than a stock jugged bike. Just know when it's time to let 'er cool... I won't ride the heck outta mine without giving it the cool down. Good luck Quote
firebanshee Posted July 16, 2009 Report Posted July 16, 2009 You might also want to put foam around the inside of your rad shroud to fill that gap between the shroud and your rad so the air is forced to go through the rad and not around it. Quote

KaosBanshee44 Posted July 17, 2009 Report Posted July 17, 2009 Switch to alky and you will never have to worry about it overheating  Quote
fastrthnu Posted July 17, 2009 Report Posted July 17, 2009 can always get an inline t-stat the goes into your rad hose. Quote
