Jetting on 4 mil

I have a 4 mil stroker,bored .060 over, minor porting, fmf fattys, +4 timing, 145 lb compression, and am very close to sea level.

 

I got some 30mm CPW carbs that are prejetted but in case they are not right i would like to know what you guys would start out with on the jets.

Im running 42 pilot, clip in the middle, 155 main. Thats with about the same setup. Im running an airbox with a foam filter. If your running K&N go richer

I took them apart to see what cpw put in them. They put a 158 main and a 50 pilot. By the way i am running k@n pod filters.

Sounds close. Maybe go up on the main just to be safe and work back down. May end up with a 48 pilot. I did make a mistake, I have a 45 pilot not 42.

IF those jet similar/same as PWKs, you'll end up with a 48 or 50 pilot and a 150 to 158 main more than likely.

I got them put on and the jetting seems to be pretty close bug one problem im having is it wont idle unless i barely touch the throttle. I mean i just touch it, not even enought to put tension on the spring. As soon as i take my finger off, it will cut off.

Forgot to unhook the little black tors box. Idle problem fixed.

I just recently put a set of the 30mm OKO carbs on my stroked and ported shee. As of now, i am running 50 pilots (still too lean, needs 52s), needle on the middle clip (stock needle a bit rich, got some JJH needles coming) and 155 mains (perfect). now like I said, I JUST put these on, and JUST started getting the jetting right, but this should help ya out anyway.
