zenk Posted July 13, 2009 Report Posted July 13, 2009 I have a 2001 Yamaha Banshee. it has cool head, pro circut pipes, k&n filter, boyesen power reeds. i took it out for the first time this weekend and at the end of the trip we crossed this river. i hit a low spot and submerged the bike for about 2 seconds. we tip the bike right over and let the water drain, put new plugs in it and started to tow it to the trucks. i put it in 3rd and while being pulled let the clutch out and it fired up and i help the throttle open and blew the water out.... it ran a little rought but when i would open the throttle wide open it ran fine. i drove it 10 miles frome where it fired to the trucks and it was ok but at lower rpms would only fire 1 cyl. when wide open both would fire. now that its home it won;t even kick over. i checked the gear oil and its milky. could anyone help me out with what i need to do? this is my first banshee.... and quad at that matter that i have ever owned. PLEASE HELP!!!! Quote

black sunshine Posted July 13, 2009 Report Posted July 13, 2009 There are phillips head screws located near the bottom side of the bowl. Turn them CCwise and watch the fuel/water come out of the overflow! Quote
