Drewski Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 did you at least hone the cylinders before you put it back together? Quote
Drewski Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 you need to hone the cylinders in order for the rings to seat in properly. and if that doesn't help you probably need to bore them out Quote
BANSH-alena-jol-EE Posted July 11, 2009 Author Report Posted July 11, 2009 sorry man, not totally fresh engine, i re used my pistons, which are 5 years old, but they looked mint, just got the cylinders honed and put in new rings reeds and head are good man, no leaks Quote
Drewski Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 hmm.... thats kinda fucked. whats your elevation? still you should be at least 100psi of compression Quote
Drewski Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 I would try taking a reading with another compression tester Quote
Drewski Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 oh ya, also if the threaded part of the comp. tester doesn't go all the way into the head(same length of the spark plug)you will get an inaccurate reading Quote
