About to order Pods for the bike. Was wondering which one to get. I was looking and found the number most people use is the RU-0210 they are a 0 degree offset flange. Would I be better off buying the one with the 40 degree offset flange to better suit placement around my exhaust? I'm running PT pipes. Also is there a substantial jetting change required when switching from no box with a 2>1 K&N to pods?

im running pt pipes and i have the regular 0 degree angled k&n's. i have no problems at all they dont touch my exhaust. as for jetting im running a 340 main, stock pilot, dj needle 3rd clip. air screws 2.5 turns. all i have is exhaust k&n's coolhead vf3 reeds +4 timing. thats at sea level

Sounds good. Whats the difference in the stock needle's and say your dj needle's. I've been wondering that for a while.

stock needles have 5 clip positions dj needles have 6 and i believe its a different taper . gives you more room to play with the jetting though. i believe the toomey and DJ needles are the same as well.

Word. Do you think there is any advantage with pods over a 2>1 filter?

Jetting changes maybe easier with the ability to remove each filter easily. I really don't think it would effect cfm that much between a single filter or 2 pods.
