I was looking and found the number most people use is the RU-0210 they are a 0 degree offset flange. Would I be better off buying the one with the 40 degree offset flange to better suit placement around my exhaust? I'm running PT pipes. decon Posted July 8, 2009 Report Share Posted July 8, 2009 (edited) im running pt pipes and i have the regular 0 degree angled k&n's. i have no problems at all they dont touch my exhaust. as for jetting im running a 340 main, stock pilot, dj needle 3rd clip. air screws 2.5 turns. all i have is exhaust k&n's coolhead vf3 reeds +4 timing. thats at sea level Edited July 8, 2009 by dEcon Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

decon Posted July 8, 2009 Report Share Posted July 8, 2009 stock needles have 5 clip positions dj needles have 6 and i believe its a different taper . gives you more room to play with the jetting though. i believe the toomey and DJ needles are the same as well. Jetting changes maybe easier with the ability to remove each filter easily. I really don't think it would effect cfm that much between a single filter or 2 pods.
