97_banshee Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 my thumb starts to hurt after 30 minutes of riding or so... it seems as if i have to shove my thumb way back under the handle bars.. besides twisting the throttle a bit is there anhything else i can do? maybe an extended throttle or sumthing.. any idea or suggestions would help.. someone82 Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 Here is what I did (mind you I do not have stock carbs), I removed the return spring from the throttle housing and then I took a section of pipe and bent the thumb throttle until it was positioned better for my thumb. I haven't had any problems with fatigue since I did this two years ago. Nor have i had problems with the throttle sticking with either of my carb setups (dual pwk 28's or the single 35). Quote
