If I let my bike sit overnight per say, there is a small puddle of oil underneath it. I'm fairly confident it's not coming from the drain plug. The top of the case is wet and it looks like its coming down through that hole behind the cylinders in the middle of the cases. Any ideas?

Thanks.

is it just oil or is it your premix? i would check all your fuel line connections, check your carbs and intake make sure all is tight. when i pull my carbs off i actually see a little bit of premix sitting just on the outside of my intake boots. have you also recently oiled your chain? maybe its splattering ontop and the excess is leaking down. thats the only thing i can think of but maybe someone else has an idea where it coming from.

It's crying 'cause you never ride it IMO.

if it is just oil x2 on the shaft seal, i had to replace mine cause over time it was leaking. but i found out that i needed a new shift shaft, bushing and seal. if its coming from top the only thing i can think of is the clutch actuator on top of case, maybe bad seal.

Try drainin all the oil out of it then put the plug back in and see. That'd probably tell you whether it's tranny oil or from the premix. There might be an extra shift shaft seal out there, not sure.

pry your intakes around and look for the crack where oil is coming through. a little cracking is normal, but once there is premix creeping, it's an airleak. if it's coming from the bore that seals on the carb, use some sandpaper, or scotch brite to seal it. if the premix can get to the outside of the intakes, then air can get in. i've had both leaks before.

gemini- has it thrown a chain before? pressurewash the engine, and throw something dry and fine, like cornstartch, or something that will rinse off easy. kinda like "rool 'er in flower to find the wet spot" you might wanna run it for a couple seconds after you wash it. do you have a skidplate?

mine was the drain plug just put some cylicone on it. but i snugged all my bolts back up they seem to vibrate loose pretty easy. mine leaks pretty damn bad from the shifter to. i'd just try tightenin all your bolts up or another idea would be to clean the shit out of it ride it for a min and see if you can spot where its comin from. funny enough dust and dirt helps you see oil leaks and stuff lol.

if mines cryin its cause i aint got the money to give her the attention she deserves lol.

don't forget that the drain plug uses a replaceable copper washer to seal it
