If they are just tight and you can't get the bolt loose from the screw, I like PB blaster to loosen bolts up. But really, anything like wd-40 to just get in there and loosen things up will work.

If you can't get it out of the a-arm after the bolt is off, tap it with a screw driver to get it to move through the arm. But watch so the threads don't get squished...

Sometimes they can be a bastard if they haven't been off in awhile...

I forgot about the ole PB blaster. Frustration had me blind-sided. My bike is a '01 and I'm trying to make it look decent but I don't think it ever will compared to bikes on here. Wll I need a impact wrench to get the nut off the swinger bolt or will I be able to remove the nut after I spray it with PB?

If those upper A arm bolts have never been taken out. You might want to grab a mini sledge cause you might need it. When I took mine apart I destroyed the bolt and had to buy a new one. Word of advice. Use Anti Seize when putting that all back together. PB Blaster works well.
