im trying to find out why neither of my bikes will start, im here at pismo beach currently. both have t5s, cfm airboxes with unis, and +4 timing. i have 310 mains, 30 pilots and needles on the 3rd clip. we brought all of the premix from las vegas, could that be the problem? or is it jetting?

hey style, I doubt its your fuel from vegas, I bring it from vegas all the time with no probs. If your bikes have been runnin fine till now ,it's probably something simple like plugs or clogged air filter. I would start there.

i made a mistake about the pilots, i forgot i have 27.5s in. think thats it? i have 30s here with me.

Are you getting fuel to the plugs?I'm not a jetting guru, but i think when you left 2100ft from vegas to pismo at sea level, it should be runnin a little leaner.

i have the same problem when i go to pismo .. i can ride my bike perfect when im home but after the trip there it takes me like 10 mins to start it . i just hold the choke and kick it .. and then its good after that ..

if you are buying your fuel @ 2100ft, then there is a 50/50 chance that it will be the higher elevation fuel that you need to richen th mains 1-2 sizes over normal sea level jetting. if you are ridding against water, it will richen up a bit. try one kick with the choke, then push the choke back in and blip a little when it fires. adjust the airscrews after it warms up, and it should start normal.
