blackedout96 Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 Got a 4mill short rod with 1dir reeds, chariot head, timing set at +5, 34mm alky pj's with power jets, lightened flywheel and shearer small bore inframes. If you need to know anything else about it please ask.... Here's what's happening. When I first got it together I had also put a new wiring harness on so I checked the spark immediately to be sure I didn't screw anything up. Spark is strong on the right side and looks to be just ok on the left. Put everything together, cleaned the carbs and kicked it over to try to get it going. It acted like it wanted to fire and did actually start once, would not rev and died after about 30 seconds. That was the only time it actually started. Now it will just act like it wants to fire, sputter and then die.... we have checked all of the electrical components and they all test within spec. Anybody have any ideas?? Thanks Mike Quote
