You Can run any fuel you set your bike up for.

No it does not come premixed. And Why would you only run it for one night? you may as well run what you always run!

No what im saying is. my tank is empty right now.

If i pour race fuel in it will it hurt my bike.

I run pump fuel right now at 50 : 1 when im racing

32:1 for trail riding.

Im going to a drag race event tommorow ngiht and was wondering if i could just use race fuel for that night.

and then what ever is lef ti will ether run out or jsut take out and use at a later time.

You can run it and it will be fine but your gains will Be minimal unless you crank up your compression and timing. I also would not swi=tch ratios run a happy medium all the time. I know my banshee doesnt like race gas unless I at least change domes to use the different combustion characteristics.

Yeah i got a coolhead wiht 17 cc domes but i dont want to put it on today. because it is my first time putting on eon and i want to be able to race tonight.

Don't think it will help get much more hp, assuming thats what you want.

But you'll be alright, you might even like the new smell. OOOOOOOOO YEAAAAAAH,

allright so it wont give me any more horespower at all. if not then i wont even run it.

OK. i didn't understand what you ment. Thought you were saying it was your first time putting them on.

Then yeah on stock head, pointless.

The higher octane gas you run, you will actually lose power. The reason people use higher octane fuels is to avoid detonation and safety.

i have to disagree with that to some point... i recently switched over to race gas and found that the throttle is much crisper and seems to rev out quicker... times and speeds got slightly faster.. but i also have alot of compression as well.. i am right around 195 psi per cylinder

Let me explain better because there is no way around it. For example you take a stock motor that has 130psi. Let's say you can run 85 octane in it WITHOUT any pinging or detonation. The you turn around and put 114 octane in it. You will make more power with the 85 simply because it is more volatile.

Now lets say you have 195psi. If you put 85 octane in it, you would melt the motor down within a few minutes or less because it burns so easily. So obviously you need to run higher octane fuel because it is harder to light and will not detonate so easily.

So my point is the lower octane fuel you can run WITHOUT detonation the more power you will make. So in some cases you have to run higher octane to avoid that. But running higher octane fuel than what is needed for your engine is wasting energy. It is a fine line to be able to get the most power out of your engine. It is very similar to tuning. The closer you can get to stoich, the more power you will make BUT the motor will literally melt if you get to lean. So you have to run it richer than that. But if your run it to rich, your losing power. You just have to find that fine line for optimal power and longevity.
