' Well i get on it today and it is doing the same a=thing again that it did before i rejetted it. it is boggy when i first start it up. After this i hit first then second and it clears up for the rest of the time riding. Does anyone else experience this shit. Does it have to due wiht it beign more then 20 degrees colder then it was the other day. help me out here. Quote
shee4speed Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 20 degrees could fatten her up a tad.Maybe try leaning the needle one clip. Quote
GrMeyer Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 Temp has a big key in tuning the bike in.. All in all what is your jetting right now. and if is bogging off the start and wakes up then try turning the air screw out 1/4 turn on both carbs to see if that helps out. But you need to get the mains set first for jetting and then the needle set then the pilot. Because if you have the needle set for one main and go larger it will change how it acts for the needle because the hole is bigger so more fuel...And banshee's are known for the bog at low RPM's and it takes some time to learn on how to get that gone. GrMeyer Posted June 17, 2009 Report Posted June 17, 2009 also a bog down low is due to carbs being out of sync Quote
