this is a little late in this thread but thought i would note, I purchased the motor.

I was expecting a decent motor considering i was told it was rebuilt around 8 hours or so ago, needless to say the left side piston is scored terribly bad, This most receive a new bore, along with missing an o-ring in the cool head, there was very little compression in the motor and could turn the engine over by hand very easy. The cylinders have never been ported, the crankshaft had never been trued and welded, i found a bearing rolling around in the crankcase. the carbs had not been bored out to 28mm like stated. The stator is bad, i do not know if the stator could of went bad during shipment or not. but the fact that these problems occurred is very discerning.

i am more than willing to post pics, unfortunately i do not have editing software on my computer to re size the image and be within the size limit on this forum. I am rather disappointed in the fact that the cylinder are needing a bore, i am guessing .20 over the original .40 to get this out to .60 over now. I just cannot seem to grasp how someone could say these are ported cylinder heads when they have never been touched. i am aware of the issues buying motors are over the internet but as described to me this was a strong running motor, the fact is i never even got to start this motor,i did a complete tear down including splitting the cases and found several problems.
