sheefreak Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 Does anybody scuff their clutch steels with a scotchbrite pad before installing them? I have used a 400 grit paper and works well, but I typically don't scuff new ones. I scuff and clean up old ones that way. Quote
KlotzBanshee Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 (edited) Does anybody scuff their clutch steels with a scotchbrite pad before installing them? yes...well kind of... I put a sheet of light sandpaper down in a flat surface and do figure eights with the steels. Couple light passes on each side does the trick. Edited June 11, 2009 by AssWhore Quote
