tbcustomz Posted June 8, 2009 Report Share Posted June 8, 2009 I was just wondering what the proper way to weld a crank is. I searched and have looked at older posts. The ones I found look like they have more welding done than mine. I had mine done a while back by what i think is a reputable shop. It does not look like the bearings were removed and there are two small areas that were welded on each outer side of the pins. I dont know what type of forces they are under but the welds dont look that strong. I am wondering if i should send them out to yet another shop to make sure they are solid?
