csavage17 Posted June 5, 2009 Report Posted June 5, 2009 I have a 2001 banshee the slides are sticking in the carb plus they are worn out so instead of just buying new slides I was going to buy a new carb setup plus a new air filter setup. Trying to decide if I should go with the 2in1 carb or just get a 34mm of the setup I have now. Plus either direction I go will I need to change the setup of anything else. Please help Quote
Bill Posted June 5, 2009 Report Posted June 5, 2009 What are all the mods done to it now? What type of riding do you do(trail, dune, drag)? this will determine what carburetor setup you should run. Quote
csavage17 Posted June 8, 2009 Author Report Posted June 8, 2009 Currently its mostly stock, but w tr6 toomey racing pipes, k&n airfilter, 2 28mm stock carbs. Set of wholeshot shredders. Other small cosmetic changes. Mostly trail and and dirt tracks. Would like to get more torque, or take off, currently kind of lagging in that area. Looking for a carb setup with easier maintainence. Also does not like to start. Quote
lowbuckracing Posted June 8, 2009 Report Posted June 8, 2009 2 into 1 carb setup with a 35 mm airstriker, the T-6 is good for low and mid torque..Have your stock head milled for a lil more pop!..Check the compression and see if you will need to run 50/50..this is a good start..Good luck..JB Quote
