i just got a banshee, took it for a test drive it was kinda boggy, thougth it was just warming up it started first kick and idle'd fine. after another short ride came home and it would not shift at idle. so i took apart the clutch cover. a friction plate was snaped? i have replace the whole clutch thanks to the internet for dirt cheap but getting the adjustment was difficult. MY problem is the litlle ball and pushrod will not come out of there little hole and the shaft that the clutch cable pulls on won't pop out of the engine, is it bolted? and can i take off the startor cover and knock the push rod out through that side... poor bike has every bolt striped( pretty much replace now though)

MY REAL PROBLEM DEFINATLY NEED HELP and will supply pictures to explane :)

so before i took it apart for the clutch repair i kicked it over... only the second day with the bike the idle was stuck for some reson

i still have the problem. som time it will start and scream/ wail like a banshee wide open or it won't do anything at all...heres my question on the mikuni (not sure if it is stock but does not have tors thing) i have two little holes/ nipples on each side with no hoses i blow through them and they go to the float bowl. my floats work should theses holes have tubes going any where.? there is a bigger hole/ nipple on each carb , the outside one is blocked but the inside one connects the two carbs..is this right i think it is for the choke? i pluged the little nipples with screws and it still screams i can't get it to stop...i open the throttle and it boggs a bit... i am going back out in my little baby barn to make sure the throttle slider things are closing all the way try to syncronize them see if the choke is leaking? and pray for a calm idle ...

the plugs are soaked with gas and are br8es, 02 bansee maybe..vin is wore off hey can i find out what year it is w/ the case number on the engine :) ?

If the clutch actuator will not pull out and you have the clamp off, the rod must be welded to the actuator. I've never had that problem. It seems like you should be able to turn the actuator back and forth till the spot weld breaks and then you should be able to pull it out.

If you end up needing an actuator and rod PM me I have a nice set for cheap. Not sure if I have an extra ball, I'll have to look.
