RagunCajun Posted February 18, 2017 Report Posted February 18, 2017 I don't have problems. Just trying to avoid one. I haven't and dont plan to do a long pull but I want insurance. So, it's drill all the way making a new hole out the inside. Thanks. Quote
sleeper06 Posted February 18, 2017 Report Posted February 18, 2017 You should be fine. I've ran 188 mains on gas in the 1/4 with gas cap mod like your doing , fast billet bowls, pingle, gravity fed. You'll know if it's an issue. Usually once you get into overrev if it starts to feel like resistance it could be sucking bowls dry or lean. Quote
RagunCajun Posted February 18, 2017 Report Posted February 18, 2017 So I can put the check balls back and cover too? Quote
RagunCajun Posted February 19, 2017 Report Posted February 19, 2017 Thanks i went ahead and did that. I'm sorry for the confusion. I didnt know theres two pieces of plastic that come out in the cap. So if you drill the hole bigger, you would not run into anything. I picked up the cap and the other piece fell off. I also got stopped today by the new cop living in our neighbor hood when i went test run it putt putting. Good times. Quote
RagunCajun Posted February 19, 2017 Report Posted February 19, 2017 You really want a picture of the cap with the parts taken off of it? Quote
sheerider11 Posted February 19, 2017 Report Posted February 19, 2017 Don't do it. TSS. Can't just offer up all your knowledge. 1 Quote
RagunCajun Posted February 19, 2017 Report Posted February 19, 2017 Don't do it. TSS. Can't just offer up all your knowledge. You are right. In honor of control.... You take these off in order from right to left. Be careful because the two ball bearings will fall out. http://i.imgur.com/akn0fBi.jpg Then you end up with the cap by itself like this after: http://i.imgur.com/xs53fEs.jpg I deleted this post from last night and remade this post. I forgot a piece. Quote
