I wanted to drill and tap and air screw into one of my carbs the other one already has one. I needed to know what size drill bit and what size tap to use.

 

I assume you mean the idle screw and not the air screw. The drill bit is a #6 measures .200". The tap is 6mm x .75 pitch. Both will probably be hard to find with out buying a idle screw kit that has them in it.

no shit, the machine shop had a billoin m6x1.0 up here @ work, but .75 is impossible to find, here, and in town.
