grpark20 Posted May 20, 2009 Author Report Posted May 20, 2009 Cant believe you sold your bike. Werent you building that biatch for like 2yrs, I remember all the updates/pics The bike is real nice, Im sure some1 is gonna be real happy. So can you tell us how you busted it up know, Bc im curious as hell The story is.....I took 8 months building it for 1 Oregon trip. I made the trip and flipped the shee about 6 timnes the last day in Oregon. So if it makes any sense I got the trip I dreamed of as a kid out of it. Only reason I sold it was because for me to fix it the right way and be happy would run me $600. Yeah, I could have fixed it for $50, but I don't half ass anything. I have more money than time at this moment in life and don't have time to turn wrenches on a shee. Hell, I didn't even jet the shee. Also, I had a very close personal friend of mine get killed in a similar situation. It hit too close to home, and I'm deploying in August. I want something that I don't have to wrench on as much. Planning on getting the new YFZ 450R with the fuel injection, aluminim frame, etc. when I get back. As soon as I have a kid, another shee will be in my life. Until then, I'll stick with my dirtbike. Thnaks everyone. Quote
