Drewski Posted May 17, 2009 Report Posted May 17, 2009 I went for a good long ride today and when I came back to the truck my shee was idling higher than normal. I turned down the idle screws and that made it better but what i want to know is does my shee have something coming to it or is it something to do with the carb????any feedback is appreciated. Quote

Were the carbs apart right before the ride? Quote
scottd480 Posted May 17, 2009 Report Posted May 17, 2009 I'd be checking for an air leak if I were you. Take some carb clean (flammable) and spray around the intake / base gasket surfaces...see if the rpm's change. If so, there's your leak. Also, don't rule out a possible crank seal leaking. Hopefully you don't melt your motor down before you find the problem. Quote

4strokekilla5 Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 holy crap i don't like the sounds of that i better check it out its could be many things, if you were riding it hard it might just be running a little hot because of low oil or something. check your oil and then check for a air leak Quote
