A friend of mine have a set of 39PWk carb and he want to convert them on alky. I looked at the carb and it s look like pumper carb, probably came from a sled.

It s for a drag port 4 mill stock cylinder

200 feet of elevation

I never convert carb, mine are converted when i buy them

I have few questions.

i read on this topic http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...259&hl=alky

if i use 55 pilot, drill dump tube 0,120, drill main 0,120. use EGN or EGQ needle, 3,8 or 3,9 seat but i dont know if i am able to swith seat or a pumper to gravity ...

How to buy power jet, how to and where to install this on the carb for best result.

thank you

Sounds like you got it covered. JUst look at your already converted alky carb for powerjet placement. Pretty much anywhere along the body of the carb just past the air filter. F.A.S.T. has powerjets,or you can get some higher flowing pjs from Dave Moore Racing.

No.

The needle and seat are not removable.

Post up pictures of the carb fuel inlet line, I can tell you if they're pumpers or not.

Just tap the intake side of one cylinder after the reed cages and get a pump.

We use the Mikuni DF62 fuel pump for methanol. Single fuel inlet, dual fuel outlet, 65L per hour.

All you'll need.

400 feet

I'd think you'd be fine with a stock petcock, gutted gas cap, and stock bowls with a pump. That pump will suck a half liter purge bottle dry and nearly collapse it fairly quick.

Dave has more experience with a pump, but I think he'll agree.

Stock fuel valve, gutted cap, drill the vent tube out to 1/8, and a DF62 Mikuni pulse pump (65L per hour) and you'll be fine for 400 foot. No billet bowls needed.
