I dont remember see that tube. but maybe I looked past it. We all have one or more times, no matter how many times you've wrenched. Keep in mind that picture is from the cylinder side. But, more or less it runs a straight line from the choke pull between the two carbs. As we've said, this sounds highly suspect. Good luck! J-Madd Posted May 13, 2009 Report Share Posted May 13, 2009 Put it back to stock and see if that fixes it. Also, make sure the throttle cable isn't in a bind. If the slides hang up, it is difficult or impossible to start. Does is backfire or anything when trying to start it? In my experience it will usually backfire (but not start) if the timing is off. I had a flywheel go bad, and it wouldn't stay in time. I think the keyway was "wollered" (sp?) out. Hell yeah check the tube first. I thought I read that you'd already ruled that out. 06specialedition Posted May 14, 2009 Author Report Share Posted May 14, 2009 OK guys its FIXED!!!!!!!! It ended up being the damn choke tube. I really really appreciate everybody's posts on this topic in helping me figure it out. If it wasn't for all your help who knows how long it would have taken me to figure it out.....
