AKheathen Posted May 9, 2009 Report Posted May 9, 2009 that depends on the temp and humidity change. going from below freezing to about 60f, is 1-2 sizes leaner on the main, and 1 size on the pilot, but if it's alot more humid, like durring breakup, it will want to be almost 1 size leaner, which will make you too lean when it dries out. start with a plug chop on the main, 1 size down, and then see if it needs a smaller pilot. dajogejr Posted May 9, 2009 Report Posted May 9, 2009 Go two sizes down on the main, turn the air screw out 1/2 turn... Obviously, your mileage will vary, but I've rarely had to change a pilot jet from winter to warm weather, the air screw handled it. Quote

I'm new to Banshee HQ, and you seem like you have a wealth of knowledge on these bikes. What size jets would you start with in a 2004 Banshee with stock OEM carbs, PT mids, Ready Filter with OE air box with lid ON, adjustable timing plate, and a Trinity's stage IV Cool Head/21cc domes? My elevation is 700 ft above sea level. I don't know if this matters but the motor has also been punched .020. Please contact me back as soon as possible. Quote
