doorslammer Posted May 8, 2009 Report Posted May 8, 2009 you can poke and fuck around with it for half an hour and find that you damaged it anyways, i just knocked mine out and got them locally and i dont even have a yammy dealer... just out of curiosity are you trying to get the top or bottom one out? 2001Stroker Posted May 8, 2009 Report Posted May 8, 2009 I have a seal puller, that I bought off the Matco truck a while back. It does a great job of getting seals out, without damaging them. You can also get them from Sears. It has two hooks with different angles, and a long handle. That's what I used to get mine out. Worked like a champ. Only problem was, I lost the damn seal during my rebuild, and had to buy another one. Quote

I'm trying to get the top one out so i can get to that reverse nut that holds the bearing in. I have a seal puller, that I bought off the Matco truck a while back.
