Hey im rebuilding my motor im putting 66mm piston (big bore ) and a cool head with 21 cc dome , i got fmf fatty pipe and k&n air filter without lid , im at sea level, and its around 25-30degree celsius around here. i was wondering which jet should i start with , i got 280 or 310 i dont know if you guys have any idea which one will be the best choice? Also i'd like to know if i'll need to change my pilot jet or if i can stay with the stock one , and how do i test these ?? thank you!

if those are your choices, then start with 310, the needle rich, and the airscrew 1 turn from seated. but you will probably need 300-290, and most llikely 27.5 pilot, with needle in the middle and 1.5 turns out on the airscrew.

the airscrew is the little flathead screw near the arfilter side boot. it lets air past the pilot jet to tune the pilot mixture right. clockwise richens and counterclockwise leans. it also effects just off-idle performance as well
