Mike DUB Posted April 29, 2009 Report Posted April 29, 2009 I bought a hot rods crank and all it came with was the little bearings that go in the upper connecting rod (forget what they are called.....wristpin bearing?) and the crank of course. I was wondering if it should have came with the cir clip/s that goes on the crank bearings? Also is there supposed to be two clips/ one on each side of the crank where the cut outs are on the crank bearings or and o-ring on one side and the cir clip on the other or what? I guess I should read the manual more, but to my understanding the stock crank has little tabs that sit in a cut-out in the case, but a hot rods crank doesn't have the little tabs. Please help me determine the correct way of installation. Thanks Mike Quote

If your looking in the bottom case with crank away from you (tranny in front of your stomach) the circlip goes on the right side I do believe Quote
