dco3100 Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 I have stock stroke, bored 80 over, aggressive trail port (maybe drag, idk) 14/41 gearing and all rocky mounatain has is the 20x10x10 10 paddle Extremes and the 22x11x8 8 paddle rippers. Which one should I buy??? You think I will be able to handle the rippers? or if I go with the extremes, will I be able to get enough traction launching in first. Or is 2nd gear an option. And what you think is better. I am completely stumped and need to order ASAP.................................. Quote
Handyman Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 I have the 22-11-10 9 paddle extremes and love them... I run them on my 421PV motor and depending on the sand I launch in either first or second. I think you should be bale to hook better with the extremes than the rippers....but I've never run rippers so I may be wrong. Quote
shanYE west Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 Definate NO on the rippers. Way too much paddle. Quote
dco3100 Posted April 17, 2009 Author Report Posted April 17, 2009 Definate NO on the rippers. Way too much paddle. Im also thinking of going with the 421 PV later on and dont want to buy new paddles, so go with the extremes which are good for now and sacrafice later (not enough paddle) with the 421 or sacrafice now (too much paddle) and be good later (hook good with 421). Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Quote
