Building my First Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 Most mods are in my sig. It has K&N 2-1 no lid, stock carbs, Carbon Tech low-mid reeds, elevation is 500-1000 ft, temp is 40-90 degrees, and I'm 250 lbs. Is a power jet kit worth buying? What sizes do you guys think I should start with? Quote
GrMeyer Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 are you running the CPI pipes or what pipes...and you have porting as well so Im guessing you need to contact the porter/engine builder. But someone here should be able to get you close tell you can do some plug chops Quote
Building my First Posted April 18, 2009 Author Report Posted April 18, 2009 Pro Circuit Plattinum. My porter doesn't have expierience with pro circuit, but he said around 360. It just sounded too big. Quote
mopar1rules Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 (edited) 1st off, don't buy no jet kit......waste of money and they are junk......IMO. start out w/350 mains, stock needles w/clip in middle position, 27.5 pilots, and w/air screws around 1-1/2 turns out. just make sure you are running race gas w/19cc domes and +3 timing. Building my First Posted April 18, 2009 Author Report Posted April 18, 2009 Race gas, he said I would be fine with 93 octane. I would rather stay away from race fuel, I am using it for just a play bike, mainly to kick all the four strokes asses that are around. What is the compression limit for 93 octane? Quote
