jamebo Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 I ordered a set of tires and wheels off ebay last Sunday, the listing said to allow 2-3 business days and to call them for a tracking number. I called yesterday and the guy asked me if I had just ordered them, I said no, last Sunday. He said to call back tomorrow (today) because he wasn't seeing a tracking number. I just got off the phone with a woman from there, she told me to call back tomorrow again because both people from customer service are out today. WTF? They keep bringing up the 2-3 day wait as if I'm calling too early, but I did a big money transaction 5 days ago and haven't even got a tracking number yet. I'm getting the feeling that my tires haven't even shipped out yet.... This is the first time I've done business with them. Maybe I'm just being a little too anxious and over reacting,... is this a normal occurance with Yamaha of Troy? Quote
DallasGDub Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 YES.....they suck at service and shipping. (but have good prices) got my rims and tires from them and it was the exact same thing. Ordered on a Sunday, got it the Wed of the next week. Same for my Nerf Bars. I think the 3-4 to business days is after it leaves the building. And about 4 days to proc an order. And the chic that gets the phone does not know shit. Quote
kodie Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 ya it takes them along time to send out rims and shit but they have good prices. they have shitty shipping and say they ship from ohio when half their shit comes from cali. Quote
jamebo Posted April 16, 2009 Author Report Posted April 16, 2009 Thanks for the info, guys. I was starting to get a little worried there for a minute, lol. I'll give it another day or so to call back for the numbers. Guess I'm just used to RMATV, they're pretty good with shipping out fast and quick delivery. Yamaha of Troy does have good prices, that tire wheel combo was definitely the best deal I could find on that particular set. Quote

jamebo Posted April 17, 2009 Author Report Posted April 17, 2009 Yes, I've been out to Croom five or six times. It's been about two years since I was out there last, but I'd like to get back up that way soon. That place is a blast to ride! Quote

Woolfman Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 Are they cheaper than rocky mountain? I haven't found anyone can beat their wheel and tire prices fast shipping and great customer service. Even when i order the wrong part they exchange it no questions asked. Rocky Mountain ATV  Quote

Rocky Mountain ATV  Yes, the set was about $40 dollars cheaper than at RMATV... even with the shipping added. Not knocking RMATV though, I do a lot of shopping with them and they do have awesome prices and customer service. Just YOT has REALLY good deals on tire/rim combos. Quote
