Putting rebuild back together

My mechanic told me my set-up now has boyseen reeds ,and i asked him to get me the v-force 3 reeds, and he told me for trail riding i should stay with the boyseens or v-force 2s ??? He said the v-force 3s will only last me about 20 hours?? Any help thanks

I've had my VF-3's for 2 years.Hard dune riding.I'll be pulling them out soon to freshen up my topend,the reeds still seam to perform flawless.
