badland banshee Posted April 11, 2009 Report Posted April 11, 2009 when we rev it up it takes it awhile to idle down? sometimes it stays high till i turn it off! it has stock carbs with toomey-t5 pipes! it has the tors on it but it is not hooked up and it did this before we unhooked the TORS I can see the carb slides and they both move and close at the same time Ive checked the intake boots and i dont see any cracks any where What else could it be? Otherwise sounds like an airleak. ok where wud i check for a air leak at or whats the easiest way to find a air leak cuz ive messed with the air screws and nothing i looked at the carbs and the TORS is still on top of the carbs just not hooked up but the big screw on the top of it is missing on the left TORS wud that affect it any way? Stellar Performance Posted April 11, 2009 Report Posted April 11, 2009 Check the vent link hose between the 2 carbs. If it got knocked out of place or is severely dry rotted, you could be sucking air in from there. Its happened to me, thats the first thing I would check! Quote

Its happened to me, thats the first thing I would check! yep that hose is M.I.A. and there aint no screw on top the TORS so i think thats mu problem screw it ill just get some aftermarket carbs for it Thanks For The Help Guys Cameron Quote
