LED whip and a 2 stroke?

I know this is a silly question, but will a LED whip work with the 2 stroke electrical system? I wasnt sure with the circuit board and such. Or am I better off running a 9v battery or something to power it?

Its not a twostroke problem as a no battery problem. I have seen led whips hooked up to the taillight wireing

I THINK it works better hooked to small battery.

Just splice it right into your taillight wire. It doesn't matter about having a battery. Only difference is, it will have a little bit of a flicker while the engine is idiling.

they sell a led rope light that you just wrap around your whip and its self comtained runs off of a aa battery lasts for approx 15 hours has like 4 different setting flashes fast med and slow and theres a steady on i think my dad paid like 15 bucks for them, or i have also seen them out at some of the vendors out at the imperial sand dunes, they have red green blue and i think purple.
