robert0762 Posted April 5, 2009 Report Posted April 5, 2009 (edited) i been goin thru pads like crazy I no they are cheap but is there a manufacturer that makes a decent set of pads I ride a lot of trail so I'm always sloshing through mud. I keep buying the cheap ones on ebay but I'm really not trying to change pads every other weekend Edited April 5, 2009 by robert0762 Quote

Rodneya Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 What do your disks look like. If they are chewed up or warped they will eat pads. Same if your caliper pistons are sticking. Your pads should last way longer than a few weeks. I ran EBC pads all last year on mussy trails and they are still about 75%. Quote
swrbansheeboy Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 i agree, if your disk is warped it will chew up pads. as for pads that will last i've been using the tusk brand sintered metal pads from rocky mountain atv with no problems.... Quote
robert0762 Posted April 6, 2009 Author Report Posted April 6, 2009 rotor is smooth but Ill check it with a square to make sure and when i replace them i'll redo the caliper too Quote
BSHEE400 Posted April 6, 2009 Report Posted April 6, 2009 i run ebc myself but for the price these could be worth a try bottom of the page Quote
MILO Posted April 7, 2009 Report Posted April 7, 2009 i've been running EBC severe duty pads on mine. they survive all kinds of water and mud trail riding and still grab strong. Quote
