anone have a clue to what size carbs these are

the guy i bought the banshee from said the carbs came from honda cr 250r they ae keihin flat slide carbs and say pj on them. Just trying to figure out what size they are honda changed there carbs quite a bit i think I know the later cr250r's had mikuni carbs?? thanks

Measure between the inside edges of the bore on the intake side of the carb. That will give you the size.

it s exactly 2 1/8 inch on the inside of the air filter side?

Sorry I meant the engine side of the carb, the smaller side.

alrigh great I have one more question my air screw on the side of the carb is only out 1/2 turn from closed and when the quad is cold and i start it the engine revs preety bad for a second or two shout i richen my pilot jet , thanks

Yea I would go up a pilot size and reset the air scews at 1.5 turns out and tune it from there.

 

If your at .5 or under then up the pilot and reset the air scew.

If your at 3 or over then drop the pilot and reset the air scew.
