bama boy Posted March 28, 2009 Report Posted March 28, 2009 When I get ready to ride. My banshee will be at a normal idle. I pull the clutch in and shift into first. It seems to slam into gear really hard. All the other gears shift just fine and the clutch isnt slipping or anything. Does anyone know why it jerks so hard into first or ever had that problem before? docjcwatson Posted March 28, 2009 Report Posted March 28, 2009 It's because you are putting no load on the motor in neutral. Then you kick it into first and now you have load. The other gears are only shifted under load. So therefore you don't notice it. Quote
