Rodneya Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 No it should not roll with the clutch is while in gear. Something to do with the type of gears in the tranny. Quote
F.T.W. Banshee Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 No it is now sussposed to move with the clutch in, it might move a very little. Hilarious the burger in your sig is making me hungry as hell. Quote
2Stroke4LIfe Posted March 26, 2009 Author Report Posted March 26, 2009 Thanks for the quick replies, I thought it was like a car with a manual...guess I was wrong.. Quote
TJScott Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 you mean the shifter lever wont move? that means your clutch is worn. the markings should only line up where the piece gets hard, use your finger not the lever. hard to explain, but if they line up when your clutch is all the way in, you better stop riding it because the nut on your adjuster is loose. TJScott Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 your clutch disengages your engine from powering your gears, which is why it then makes it safe to shift, because the load is taken off of the gears. so no, your rear wheels should not be moving when the clutch is pulled in. im confused, but i think i answered you.
