Thewhite Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 a while ago I got the same issue: I was too rich and my exhaust oring was dammage Quote
Young Posted March 20, 2009 Author Report Posted March 20, 2009 Thanks guys, I changed the oil ratio since I purchased it, but havent riden it enough to tell if it helped... Im running amsoil 50:1 like the bottle said.... The guy also had the stock snorkle after he had jetted it and added a K&N... I think that may have been the problem, the bike runs great.... I bet the o-ring may need to be changed too Ok say it is to rich what would be the first set to fixing that? Thanks for the info, Peace! Quote
killshee Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 ams oil i run 3-4 once per gallon i would just run like klots 32:1 i only used ams oil once or twice so idk but 50:1 doesnt sound right to me? Quote
GrMeyer Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 had the same prob on my bike running 32:1. I was jetted a little rich. Changed jets. kept the same oil mix and started to run the banshee like it was made to run. Now it is clean. And now i just got my jugs ported so everything is apart. Quote
boneyardbanshee. Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 50:1 on Amsoil Dominator is fine. Many people use it at that ratio for years with no problem including myself. Change your exhaust rings. If your bike runs good your jetting should be close. Quote
