bbcmudtruck Posted March 18, 2009 Report Posted March 18, 2009 I got ahold of a dude at Elka and he said they can revalve, respring, and make it a zero preload for $375. What does he mean by zero preload, and has anyone had this done their rear shock? Quote

Zero preload is the system of setting up a top spring that is very weak jsut to keep some tension on the shock. as soon as any weight gets on the spring it compresses it basicaly lowering where the bike sits but gives you a normal spring after that.
