sredish Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 Maybe thinking about running a set of powervalve cylinders at some point... would like to keep the stock crank for now, so 1) using pump gas compression, the crank should be alright not being welded you think? and 2) where's the best place to look for cylinders like this and what would the roundabout costs be? sredish Posted March 16, 2009 Author Report Posted March 16, 2009 just found a place that showed some 400cc Trinity Cheetahs for $3400, if that's the case, they can keep it. Just nuts, is that typical? Quote

Just nuts, is that typical? hahahahahahahaha. I just bought an entire running 10mil 73mm Cheetah PV topend from M&M with billet intakes and ARP studs for less than $2,700. Came with everything to make it run, minus the crank. Call Andy. Quote

2001Stroker Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 is that brand new?? Brand new, still wrapped in plastic. Everything's new. Cheetah Cylinder, Cheetah head, 25cc domes, billet powervalves, Wiseco pistons, Wiseco rings, Wiseco wristpins, CR500 billet intakes and boots, CR500 v-force 3 reeds, all gaskets, all o-rings. Quote
shanYE west Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 u sure it was CR500 intakes and reeds and not CR250's? I thought only the bigger DM's used CR500 intake. I know the smaller DM's use a adapter plate to fit the CR500. Onewickcrewcab and Blewbyu use CR250 on their cheetah's. Quote

That's for the reeds and the intakes, which came from two different places. Quote
shanYE west Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 whats the model number on the VF3's? V305B? Quote
2001Stroker Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 whats the model number on the VF3's? V305B? Hey, I take that back. The invoice for the reeds says 250, and the invoice for the intakes says 500. Yes, the part number for the reeds is V305B, and one of the boxes says right on it Cheetah/250R VIII REED ASSEMBLY. So, I guess you're right. I guess the invoice for the intakes is wrong. Quote
