fyrmn14
So I just bought a rebuilt bored 383CC banshee. It currently just has FMF pipes and a KN filter. I owned a stock motor banshee before with minor mods, but never a bored over bike and have some questions on my new bored banshee. I live and ride in Utah. 4000-6000 above sea level. Going to be doing multi-riding with some hill hits I already am sold on putting toomey T-5's on it. Unless someone can sell me other wise. Going to also do V-Force 3 Reeds. Questions are: What size carbs should I get. 34...35...36?? and does anyone here know what main jet might be best to run during summer? Also, anyone have info on what front tooth/rear tooth...mainly front tooth might be best to run? Any other mods that might wake this 383 up from running its current "stock" setup? vulvafan537240
is it ported? if not, big carbs wont help much because the stock portwork is internally choking it down. also boring it out to 383cc's doesnt do much for power. portwork and stroking it make power. RagunCajun
Keep the current exhaust and get some portwork on it. Also, keep the stock carbs. That's my two cents.
donkeypuncher
port it, get an adjustable timing plate and either get a cool head or have the stock head milled to up your compression.
