yah forgot to mentchin. nice 89. did you get the frame redone. also what had to be don with it to get it running and whats done to it

87, never seen it run before. traded my rm125 for it and it came with a blown up 06ish engine. ive never seen it run before, stuck a welded crank in it, bored the cylinders .80 over, wiseco pro-lites, few things here and there. never even owned a quad before.

sounds good. if you didnt know this already let it idle for like a half an hour then go over everything again. after that some slow puts for like another hour. then check it. then go a little more agresive and check it again in another hour. but thats what i do. but there has been arguments that just hoping on and ripping on it after a rebuild helps it out

yeah, nobody agrees on what to do for the break in period. from dry builds to idling. i just follow the manual. i cant wait to break it in in the morning!

this is crap. this is not how you break in a motor.

1. 5 mins of idling.

2. 10 mins of cooling.

3. 5 mins of idling.

4. 10 mins of cooling.

5. 10 minute ride varying the throttle a little.

6. cool.

7. run the piss out of it. (provided jetting is good)

Yup. Give it a couple of heat cycles then ease into it a little bit taking it easy. Then you ride it like you stole it. Never had any motors come apart yet, except I blew a head off once. That was my minor (ok a little bigger than that) oversight. After some new o-rings it ran like a raped ape.
